unanimously ratified the political agreement with the self-Critical Current
IULV Provincial Council-CA, meeting until noon today, approved unanimously the report of the provincial coordinator Luis Segura. The report highlights the profound crisis in our province, being the penultimate English province in socioeconomic index of convergence with the European Union (72% compared to 100 of the EU, according FUNCAS). The rampant unemployment, the industrial crisis of the region of Linares-La Carolina-Bailen-Andújar (Nacional IV), the decline in agricultural income for the situation of the olive, and the failure of the Active Plan, in contrasting political advertising in recent years. Segura
states in his report that the IU is the political reference, ethical and election for millions of English, Jaén in Andalusia and because the PSOE and PP bipartisanship means crisis, unemployment and corruption. In this regard the provincial coordinator called for municipal elections to take and strengthen civil society and organizational growth of IU, with a view to build up strength, to achieve a profound change in the coming years.
The Provincial Council has also approved applications from 15 other municipalities in addition to those already approved on 16 January. Certified municipalities are: Begijar, Vilchez, Jabalquinto, Pozo Alcon, Arquillos, Albánchez Magina, Cambil, Cabra de Santo Cristo, Campillo Arenas, Alcala la Real, La Higuera, Arjona, Baños de la Encina, Baeza and Rus.
