PENSIONS ARE NOT THE SOLUTION IS TO CREATE JOBS PROBLEMA.LA
The PSOE government has just approved the cut of our future pensions, forcing us to work two more years to collect smaller pensions than today. Reform unnecessary at a time when the system has a surplus of 64,000 million euros (0.9% of GDP). Viable pension system, whose reform pursues only one goal: to cut social spending on pensions to pay the financial gap left by banks with the crisis of the brick.
The increase to 67 years in the legal retirement age will receive a pension up to 20% lower than at present, having to work two more years. Measure
unfair especially for youth and unemployed workers to delay retirement and prevent the create 200 000 jobs a year and a loss of quality of life for workers more onerous occupations such as construction, hospitality and transportation.
On the other hand, increasing the computation period of 25 years will result in a reduction in future pension. With this measure, 70% of current workers receive a pension between 15 and 20% lower in the future.
Finally, rises from 35 to 38.5 years when the contribution required to be entitled to 100% of the pension, it imposes an unreachable bar for a majority of workers with careers short, due to seasonality, unemployment and the dominant economy in our labor market.
With this cut, young people and women will see their pension reduced considerably. With the cut in benefits, the Socialist Government yields again financial power and banks are the main beneficiaries of the private pension system. Reform with labor reform will mean that the youth of our country will live worse than their parents.
For the PCE, pensions are not the problem, the solution is to create stable and quality employment, which will generate more resources and income, they ensure a higher pension, protecting more workers and for more years.
