ALARMING RISE OF UNEMPLOYMENT IN JAÉN
THE PROVINCE OF ANDALUSIA IS THE FIRST AND SECOND IN SPAIN WHERE MORE UNEMPLOYMENT INCREASES
UI provincial coordinator, Luis Segura, believes that soaring unemployment in the province Jaén is already a cause for alarm and the public should think seriously about rebelling in a big civil protest. Official figures, released on the day, reflecting an increase of 3,967 registered unemployed persons, a 7.66% increase last month.
These data indicate that the province of Jaén, experienced the largest rise in unemployment in Andalusia, where alone accounts for 57.34% of the increase. The percentage speaks for itself having Jaén abandonment by the central government and the Junta de Andalucía, making clear that the Active Plan is just a mere propaganda tool in the hands of the PSOE no real impact on the economy and development the province.
Jaén province already has 55,748 unemployed people registered at employment, and about 80,000 in unemployment if the source we consider is the EPA. These data of unemployment in our province to bring out, month after month, the resounding failure of all cuts and counter measures taken by the Government, with the labor counter foreground, unlike the positive employment arguments put forward for approval, note this fiasco.
Government policy and the Board is unfair to workers who did not cause the crisis, while inefficient because it is cutting investment and social spending, leading to decreased economic activity and rising unemployment.
Luis Segura believes it is urgent implementation of the oft claimed Extraordinary Investment Plan for the province, besides putting in place genuine active employment policies and training cushion the plight of 27,000 families Jaén has no means of subsistence.
Finally, the provincial coordinator of IU, calling for mobilization of the citizenry of our province because the low price of oil, or the massive destruction of businesses and jobs in our province are the product of a very conservative policy , as performed by the PSOE and posted on the hidden agenda of the PP.
